When you met your later teacher Mumon Roshi at the bus you immediately decided to dedicate your life to Buddhism. Do you as a Roshi often have had this influence to future students?

It is hard to answer this without knowing how each and every person experiences it for themselves. Maybe it is not like through one meeting that people´s life get changed. That it worked between myself and Mumon Roshi in this way was quite special, that is how it feels to me. And I do not see myself as being that impressive as Mumon Roshi. Yet if the karmic connection is there, I will share my experience with anyone.
